My approach

Searching for hope? There are many sources of anxiety, stress, and challenges in life. Life can be filled with unexpected changes, twists, and turns leaving you feeling hopeless. You can quickly find yourself struggling with anxiety, feeling overwhelmed, or even experiencing hopelessness. I believe people are doing the best they can and my clients often express feeling comfortable, safe, and free from judgement in my sessions. Working together, we will figure out the source holding you back and teach you techniques to set you free, regain control and let go of fear and worry.

As an experienced Marriage and Family Therapist, I have journeyed with many families and individuals initiating the process of healing and personal growth in a safe and supportive space. Whether it is struggling in a relationship, a blended family, loss of employment, career changes, substance abuse, or becoming a caregiver of someone struck with dementia, I can help you overcome feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or uncertainty of what’s the next step.

Many of life’s challenges begin with some sort of anguish, whether through military service, addiction, infidelity, sudden health issues, or the death of a loved one, people’s most painful moments can overwhelm one’s senses.  Regardless of what you have experienced, I seek to provide you with a safe space to share your story and having been certified in the use of EMDR to treat trauma, help you move forward with courage and resilience.

Whether dealing with a traumatic experience, or just the day-to-day grind, my ultimate goal is to be an individual who instills hope in people’s healing journey—hope and healing is available, and I can teach you the steps to get there.
